Lash Line Enhancement

This is a more natural, less dramatic effect than traditional eyeliner alone. The color is implanted at the base of the lash line only—think in between your eyelashes. This procedure simply serves to define the lash line, make the lash base look fuller, darker, and more dense. This is great for those that don’t usually wear eyeliner but want the eyes to stand out more.
Results can last 2-5 years depending on your skin type and lifestyle. The liner is not placed above your eyelashes and is not thick, it is not winged, special colored, or placed along the bottom lash line. Service by Amanda.

What are lash extensions?
Also known as semi-permanent eyelashes, our extensions are made of a synthetic polyester that come
in multiple lengths, thickness, colors, and curls to match your natural lashes. NKD uses synthetic
polyester because it responds better to wear and tear than other materials and provides the least
possible chance of an allergic reaction.
The individual lash extension is applied to your natural lash using a medical grade, FDA approved adhesive. When applied properly, neither the lash nor the adhesive should touch your eyelid. Your natural lash sheds over time and our adhesive is designed to last until your lash naturally falls out. To prevent your natural lashes from prematurely falling out, we’ll guide you through proper care of your lashes during your no cost consultation and after your appointment.
At this point you’re probably saying to yourself “wow, this sounds like a meticulous process”, and it is. A
good lash artist is highly trained, licensed, and has countless hours of hands on training before they
begin taking clients. Our master artists work hand and hand with our newer artists, perfecting their
craft. At NKD, newer artists are hand selected to attend training. They already possess experience in the

What types of sets do you offer?
At NKD we offer the Classic Set, the Volume Set, and the Hybrid Set. We believe in show stopping
lashes, but ones that maintain a natural and professional look while supporting a healthy natural lash.
With so many different lash extension trends out there, we believe in specializing and perfecting these
three client favorite styles that won’t damage your natural lash.
Classic lashes are the “Queen” of all styles. Classic lashes are best for clients who already have good
natural lashes, but want more length, creating a gorgeous and natural look. Classic lashes give a more
dramatic and fuller look, but again maintain a professional appearance.
Volume lashes are perfect for
those clients who have sparse lashes, bald spots, or just want a more dramatic look. Volume lashes are
significantly lighter than Classic lashes and the technique involves attaching 2-3 lashes per natural lash,
creating a lighter, fluffier, and fuller look.
Hybrid lash sets are a mixture of Classic and Volume lashes
creating a fuller Classic set.
Yes….but just like with any service, we recommend researching a lash studio thoroughly before booking
your consultation. If a lash studio doesn’t offer an initial consultation, we would recommend that you
proceed with caution. The consultation is a chance for you to ask questions, and to make sure that the end result will be exactly what you
are looking for.
One important question that you may want to ask is “Are these lash extensions or
clusters?” Clusters are NOT lash extensions and are “clusters” of lashes glued directly to the eyelid,
yikes. Although the initial result may look good, they could eventually become painful, promote ingrown
hairs, cause a sty, and permanent loss of your natural lash.

With anything that quickly gains popularity,
“cheaper” products that could potentially harm your natural lashes over time, do exist. At NKD we buy
both direct from manufactures and from reputable distribution companies, and never use cluster lashes.
A set with no fills will last somewhere around a month, depending on how well you take care of them,
your natural lash cycle, and your lifestyle. 2-3 weeks is what is recommended for a fill and then you
could wear them indefinitely. Lashes shed naturally and you might notice the extensions shedding more
since they are thicker and longer than your natural lashes.
